" yes if just going round town but if doing motor ways no and dont drive with the windows open as it will suck fumes in from the back, sounds daft, with front window the air goes out and is drawen in from the back hope it helps just wondered why you said not safe on motorways? having been a mechanic an M.O.T tester for a number of years i cant see your logic in saying this!" ooooooooooooh so i CAN go on motorway tomo then to see my family for sunday din - its only 3 junctions and is in the middle of road works so can only go 50mph all the way. | |||

I had to drive back up the road and pick it up - its the whole box But i did have a look at it (to a girly eye) and the joint IS well corroded - which i am suprised at as only got the back box and middle pipe about 2 years ago. Front box was replaced last year after damaging it and even had to replace LAM sensor etc as was welded in. So am sure the rest of the exhaust is ok - its just that both at home and at work, i have to go up kerb, ramp etc, so it does take a wee bit of a battering - not sure if thats why its corroded or not tho......knowing nothing about cars or their bits. | |||
