London

Just tell them to ignore the thread if they’re haters and don’t look back in anger.

Dover

Was going to see them live in Germany when I was serving over there. Liam got knocked out in a bar and the show got cancelled. Never got my money back as I couldn't speak German

I saw their last ever gig. It made me laugh one time when on the tube I heard a guy talking about seeing it. I was going to chime in with an 'I was there too' when he started talking about how awesome Wembley was haha.

Seen in far off places

And on BBC4 tonight, at 8:30pm, is a reshowing of that iconic TOTP episode from 1989 when Madchester came to town - The Stone Roses and The Happy Mondays sharing the stage ...a televisual delight!

Stone Roses. Now you're talking. Saw them at Finsbury Park on their comeback tour. Decent gig. Probably my favourite Manchester band.

I was there too (V). Thought they were rubbish on that occasion...just seemed to be going through the motions.

I gave up on the radio x gig as the ads were annoying and they were cutting all the links out of the show.

The gig in full is available on apple tunes so I switched to that and played tennis racket guitar with my two boys, one of which made a great drum kit with some wooden spoons!

Best Friday night I’ve had in lockdown for ages

Yeah

I’ve had some near misses in mosh pits before.

Great fun though

Great band who were cracking the States big-time but unfortunately the brothers tantrums (Liam specially) put paid to that.
