This has probably been covered to death but it is really annoying!

Do people actually bother reading profiles?

Also do single men actually think sending a wink with no face pics and a one liner on their profile will actually get a reaction?

Or are we the odd ones who just ignore them?

We are a very friendly couple but talking to a silhouette or faceless cock doesn’t really do it for us! Lol

I always read profiles and adhere to them, but I do send winks too, simply as an ice breaker, a hello i see you, i don't and have no intention of sending cock pictures.

Reading a profile bio is so important to us. It gives a brief insight on compatibility. We get frustrated when we have exchanged messages over a period of time only to find out we have been chatting to people who do not kiss others.............

I find it quite amusing that a faceless *female profile often insists on "no face pic, or no chat"! So it's fine for them not to show their face but you have to? Talk about double standards!

*I doubt most of them are actually women TBH... more likely a guy trolling or collecting wank material!

Your asking people who actively engage in writing in the forums.

I suspect most of us on this side of the site do read them...and it makes being on fab more enjoyable for it.

As for the others...I said we are the minority.

My personal gripe is profiles asking you to read their profile but dont bother reading yours before replying back

Maybe, and we will talk to people even if they are not what we are looking for. Just tell them from the start.

It’s the ones that are one liners, no pics, directed solely to the female not use as a couple and their profile has nothing on it.

Our real question is do they really think this will get a reply? Or is it just us and they actually get replies... lol

98% do not read mine. I can tell as there's things I as state certain things on my profile so when I'm messaged I know straight away my profile hasn't been read x

I read the profiles to see if there's a connection. I'll usually read the profile before looking at photos as the profile, if appealing, adds to the attraction.

I do read profiles and even make it all the way down to their 'secret' word to use when messaging. If we 'match' and I'm interested I will message or sometimes wink. If the profile is just moaning about what they don't want them I'm outta there

I always read profiles and I expect the same from anyone who contacts me, or I tend to block them.

This seems to be the symptoms of a disease that lots of single guys on here seem to suffer from. Not reading or ignoring profiles seems rife.

There isn't a day goes by that we aren't contacted by at least two single guys suffering from this reading disease.

I read every profil I open. If theres an attraction or I find it funny I either message with a face picture or I fab the picture or wink.

My messages are rarely opened so I tend to wink as it saves the hassle of putting thought into drafting a message.

We read profiles and I'd say most couples , but not all, who message us have read ours and those who haven't it's pretty obvious straight away. We have single males blocked so I can't comment on whether they read profiles or not.

I actually did this a little while ago as an experiment, no profile text, no pics, and I got 65 messages in 1 night!

I always read a profile before messaging first. I don't send winks or one liners without a face picture, because I really can't see what I could achieve from doing that.

Women are also guilty of not reading messages and profiles. For example I once had something on my profile to see if the ones who ask for code words would use mine, but they never did and also when I have asked a few question at once, I'm lucky to get one answered and it's as if they didn't see the others in the same message

I almost always read a profile before messaging ..sometimes on who's near I say hi without reading properly and have had some good chats before i have read the profile...it's kind of nice, a bit of mystery. Some profiles are so long they are exhausting ..they tend to be either hilarious or dross... I think ...

Depends how long the profile is, some people have a stupidly long profile but I'm kinda safe with that as not many men do.

I look at the key points, smoker, drinker, height etc and what they're looking for. If the text isn't too long I'll read it but if it's ranty I'll move along.
