is 40 this year.....with the Punk Britannia thread and now watching Synth Britannia, I've been YouTubing and although I was only 5 when Ziggy was released, I got into Bowie in the early 80's when a slightly older mate of mine (the first boy I ever kissed incidentally - what did he start!!!!) played Changes for me....any way, I'm thinking what's your fave number either off Ziggy or by Bowie....off Ziggy it's gotta be 5 Years for me.....live version on David Live double album (which I've sadly lost) has me howling....another coupla personal faves are Velvet Goldmine and (don't hate me....) The Laughing Gnome

Can't say i have one. At a pinch, Space Oddity is memorable. So i suppose Starman will suffice too.

Yep, I never got into Aladdin Sane as much....went back to his early stuff then from late 60's - Rubber Band, Uncle Arthur...but then Pinups, and Diamond Dogs bought me back into the 70s....

I had that album but never really got into that era Bowie....to be honest, I was a snotty New Romantic teen thought Bowie had sold down the river for commercial success with those early 80's songs....oh the arrogance of youth!

Cunnilinguists brother actually changed his name to Aladdin Sane back in the 70's...another of Bowies 'alter ego's'.

Bowie is a genius to me...one bad song that he openly admits to...Lets dance...the rest...superb from all decades!
