Morning all!

Had an odd thought and wondered what the hive minds experience was.

Have you been recognised outside of fab by a stranger, conversely has anyone you knew in real life recognised you on here, and what happened after that?

I’ve spotted a couple of women from here around the city but I have nothing on here that would allow someone to recognise me.

On a different site, I did start chatting to someone and it turned out we worked at the same place but it hadn’t got to swapping photos so no recognition there either

Recently had a couple of people contact who I’ve previously worked with. It’s not an issue just annoying when they try’s and play games of I know who you are.... yep and I don’t care!

Also had message of ex brother in law....that was weird! If only he knew who I was as he hates me!!

Not all of us have the freedom for that, unfortunately the lifestyle is looked down on and for many it can have a massive impact. I have been under scrutiny and was basically branded a sexual predator because I attended clubs and in the end I left the organisation.

Got requnised at a sex party, very nervous about attending, knocked on the door and was greeted by the host and event organiser ...my boss from work!! We had plenty to talk about afterward!

I’m fairly certain the husband of a woman I used to go to a playgroup with (when our kids were younger) messaged me on here. Thankfully I never sent him a pic but he sent me one. Deleted and blocked immediately

I didn’t have them when he knew me. It’s been some time since I’ve seen him in person at least!

I was talking to a guy from a couple for a while. He lived in the same town as we do, he told me about his family and that he had lived in the town all of his life. We spoke about his love of women wearing tights and it had been a passion of his all through his life. I started to think about the younger brother of my best friend in my teenage years. He used to sit by me and tried to touch my stockinged legs. I asked him a few questions about himself and he is indeed that brother. Apparently he had a big crush on me. We still chat but we wouldn't ever meet, just to close to home.

I disagree. I would lose my job but would find another. If my boss called me a sexual predator for attending clubs i would take him all the road. I refuse to have my life dictated to me by our stuffy society.

Yet you hide your face on your pictures? Parents tend to complain when their kids teacher is also and escort and swinger. Life isn't so simple as get another job for most. Employers aren't supposed to show bias, but they do. Age height style gender and lifestyle.

Yes i hide my face which is what i choose. Maybe if you hid yours you would not be recognised. I am not ashamed to be a swinger and do not openly advertise the fact but would not expect to be slated if found out.

Yeah. A couple of people have recognised me by my lips in my pictures.

One guy messaged me (really nicely) asking if I was the hot girl who used to work in the gaming store in my hometown. He just wanted to tell me I was pretty, which is always nice to hear. Who knew my lips were so distinctive?!

I wouldn’t be too fussed if other people recognise me. It’s just a level of privacy I like in my life that keeps me from posting full face photos. That and my job is quite sensitive. As much as it wouldn’t matter, I don’t really want to have the chat with my boss about being on a swinging site

Yes! Because I stood in as “dungeon mistess” for a local club and was recognised in Asda.... hence why I didn’t do it again!!!

I'm self employed now and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't hold it against myself.... In the past I was more careful and was still recognised

I was recognised by somebody I went to school with. Hence why I took my face pictures to friends only. It didn’t bother be as we ended up meeting a few times. I’ve recognised a few people but not in a long time.

Yet I had some guy claim I was Elsy (definitely not me) ask for sex then try to blckmail by "I'm gonna tell everyone" & then try ask for sex to again.

Told him where to go rudely & what he was, blocked & reported.

We’ve not been active enough to be recognised out and about but I’d personally feel a tad awkward if it did happen. We like the anonymity behind the club nights etc and I’ve always wondered what if I came across someone I worked with or similar lol

All the time.

Thankfully most have the decency to message me on here rather than approach me in person (which I don't mind at all in clubs).

I get the occasional faceless/creepy "I know who you are. Can't believe you're on here!"

Oddly enough, I always seem to get most recognised in supermarkets or DIY stores.

I've bumped into loads of female clients in clubs or private parties over the years. It's never really awkward as we're all there for the same thing.

I often recognise people on here but would never message them to tell them. Makes no odds to me what people do

Eeeeee. That's awful.

My new phone linked all my contacts to my Facebook a few years back. I'd collected a fair few numbers saved since joining in 2009! I didn't realise and came up on "People you may know". Had all sorts of predators poking me and sending friend requests. Or messaging saying "How do you know such and such!?".

I tend to assume that if someone wanted to chat about their personal life, they would. I guess not everyone practices the same etiquette.

I've since learned never to give my number out. Kik or Insta only from now on

I've been on swingers sites for a few years so I'd be very surprised if noone's ever recognised me...but noone's ever told me if they did. Conversely back in the day when I'd go on cam in swinger chats I had people telling me every week that they'd seen me about town, not once had it been me! (I know cos I don't go out that much )
