Hi all, hope this is in the correct area.

Iv often wanted to attend a naturist establishment and after a quick google and chatting to a a friend there are lots around. However being the ever cursed single male (boo hiss) I would like something more from it.

Just wondering if anyone here knew of any naturist retreats that may turn a little more risqué later on?

Or if anyone is willing to accompany me to one. I imagine they are as friendly as swinger clubs but still nice to go with someone

We are naturists but when we have been to proper naturist places we actually find they are quite prudish where sex is concerned and swinging disgusts them!! We have never been able to tell the full blown naturists clubs that we are swingers!! It does go the other way in that although the staunch naturists are not swingers there are however swingers that are naturists I know this probably doesn't make sense but it has definitely been our way of seeing things.

My family started me with naturism from childhood. As many places are child friendly, sex isn't appropriate. You'd need to look more for swinging type venues that have nudist facilities, including sunbathing etc. Lockdown means that places opening up will be social venues, rather than encouraging action

I don't know about up your way but examples of places you are looking for are Silverleigh and Eureka (both in Kent) and BGHS in Brighton. However, you need to behave appropriately. There are times and places there it is appropriate and inappropriate. It is not a free-for-all.

What they said. For those clubs that advertise themselves as naturist / nudist with no hint of anything else, feel free to visit, but watch yourself. Don't assume all who are there are swingers - one wrong move could see you banned from there.

Shropshire has the Telford Naturist Club which is a family orientated club and you are not allowed to swing openly.discretion is a must as the club is open to families and non swingers.

Why do people find it so hard to distinguish between being naked and sex? Baffles me.

If you want sex, go to an appropriate place. If you just want to get naked, go somewhere to do that.

I dont go to the green grocer's to buy meet!!!

I agree.

I am very open minded and consider myself to be non-judgmental about most things, however...

My wife and I have both enjoyed time on a naturist beach and in a couple of naturist friendly resorts in the UK. It has never felt overtly sexual at any genuine naturist location and nor should it. There is something quite magical spending time naked amongst other like minded people without feeling you are being ogled, judged or expected to perform in some way.

At a genuine naturist venue there is no pretence and no hidden agenda and to be honest that's the way we like it. Especially if you are not very body confident.

You should also bear in mind that most naturist resorts, beaches etc.. are family friendly and I think this should be respected.

There are many adult only resorts that cater for the more adventurous and they are also wonderful places with their own etiquette but should not be confused with naturism.
