On 'those days' what cheers you up?

I have a giant mug of tea and I'm watching a Disney film. I'd also love a cuddle but not sure how far I'll get with that one.

.

A nice hot shower with some lovely shower gel (currently loving Philosophy's Pure Grace). Baking something nice and warming - scones or brownies or a crumble. Lighting a candle and watching a cathartic film and devouring cheese.

I'm painting doors today. But it turns out I bought not such good quality paint and will need too many coats!!

I'll go for a rainy run later in the woods which will top me up. Moving and nature. Enjoying that my kids have gone to their dad's for a few days x

Took a week off work to do some heavy garden landscaping. 3 days in and the body is broken, feet are up sat in a lovely wingback chair with a cuppa and watching the birds attack the freshly turned soil for worms

Smellies on in the house, blanket on me, and read a book or watch a film/series.

Can't beat Disney+ tho.

Didsbury

I love having a soak in the bath when it is miserable outside especially if it is raining and I can hear it hitting the bathroom window.

But would give anything for a cuddle, my youngest who still lives at home does not do cuddling so the last time I had a cuddle was 15th March

Instead I may have a soak in the bath tonight then cuddle up with myself on the sofa
