Been listening to Radio One past Glastonbury festival clips. I'm massive festival goer. Who else is and really sad about no festivals this year

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact

I tend to go to more day festivals which are local rather than camping over several days due to unadventurous friends. Would have loved to go to Bennicassim or Rock Am Ring perhaps.

Yeah it's a damned shame. Its looking like Rockaway Beach is still on in January but I wouldn't be surprised if that's cancelled soon either

.....no......

I'm gutted for the loss of most live music. Normally I go Leeds fest, download and somewhere abroad that's interesting. I do miss them but the money saved is a half decent second prize

Yeah I love festivals.

Used to go a lot more when I was younger than I do now.

But definitely want to get on the festival bus again.

Wouldn't be too keen on camping again now though.

I do like a good festival, although last one was around 3 years ago while at Groovin the Moo in Australia.

But do miss atrending a festival, the community feel of it, the freedom from normal life for a few days.

getting into a state and meeting fellow weirdos in a field? That's my idea of fun!

Would have been going to Supersonic in Birmingham, pity.

I believe there are Swinger's festivals though I've never been to one

a quandary, could you change my mind?

I had my first one booked for this year. Was so looking forward to it, full 5 days away, all the acts, was even sorting out menus, just off site for accommodation. But it's all moved to next year so something to look forward to.

wow wonder how that one works out? I know in Shambala, Womad and Glastonbury, there's hot tubs. Not sure if you can be a naturist in it. But sooo gutted not to experience any festivals this year. They definitely highlight of my year. Plus global trotting.

Dubai & Nottingham

We used to go to Glastonbury and Reading regularly when we were younger, we stopped when kids came along but as they became teens started going again with them. A little more upmarket, glamping and more secure ones without the drugs and chaos like Latitude, Citadel & Sundown. Actually enjoyed them more !

My usual overseas festival has been postponed until end August for 3 days of music, sunshine, serendipity, nature and rural camping.

Cannot wait to be there.

Whitley Bay

Me! I had 4 lined up with work. I miss dancing all night, the craic, watching people express themselves and let go. I miss jamming round an early hours fire, van life, messing about, trippin and belly laughs with my crew, seeing familiar festi faces, daytime frolics, art, culture, exchanges and dance floor snogs.

I like to get my kids to at least one a year and they grow so much over the week. Yep, I miss em.

That's terrible. Some of the best times are trying to find your tent at the end of the night lol

You mean just falling asleep where you lie? The amount of times I’ve said just fuck it and fallen into a bush at a festival to wake up the next day isn’t worth adding up haha

You are all doing festivals wrong. Try Primavera it's in Barcelona it is sunny, the music is outstanding, you get to stay in a hotel and it starts at 4 in the afternoon and runs until 6am.

Been to plenty of Glastonburys, Primavera is just better.

Precisely this. Every. Damn. Time. I’ve woken up once on top of my tent half naked, shoes in my tent and started to have a go at everyone around me for stealing my shoes and not wondering why I was in just boxers on a broken tent on day 1 of the festival. That one was fun

Not a bad festival if you are a school lever

I usually do Download Festival, even did Download Paris a few years ago. Ended tuning into the online stuff this year to get my fix. There wasn't enough rain though.

Put a tent up in the garden and turn the sprinkler on for four day!
