Worms? Do not read if eating . lol

Have you ever had them ....... I am told most of us have worms in the gut and if you get alot you will see them ...when you go to loo at times ? Thay lay there eggs around your bum- hole at night and if you itch yourself around there and not clean hands making food can get around the family too ... My girl see one ... and we had to go to doc and sceard the hell out of her .. after having tummy up set on holiday over seas so today doc said all the family need to take one tablet ,

well see the doc this morning ... he said most of us have them ... but i never asked if you only get from food , lol

From what I gather they are very common and very easy to pass on too as you can get them from anything that an ifected person has touched if they did not wash hands after going to the loo and that is why the whole family has to be treated at the same time.

When I lived in Germany they were as common as nits in school classrooms ..... kids playing in the school sand trays used to regularly infect the sand and we'd get a note home to dose up the kids with worm medicine. My daughter used to have to get given her 'strawberry milkshake' in the bath because she knew it was worm medicine and the mere thought of worms made her spew up ..... hence sitting in the bath with the vile stuff in case she vom'd far and wide.

I hated taking the stuff too.

worms spread like wild fire, school kids get them a lot, only takes one child to go to school with them and scratch its bottom, hold hands with another child, who holds a pencil that another child holds after and a whole call can be infected within hours, they go home and then spread them to their family, thats 30 odd familys that are infected within one day because of one child, they really do spread that easy

If one family member has them the chances are you all will

They cant be helped and dont make you dirty they are just a parasite anyone can get

You can tell if you have gthem as you can see them on your poo and your bum will itch, so they need to be treated at first signs

It is rife in France, was told its because they eat meat so rare. My ex was French, on the return from visiting her family I had a terrible scare. I had been to the loo and when I looked down, the pan was full of worms about a foot long. I was in a right state and my ex come running in. She looked and laughed, turned out it was dental floss she had thrown in there!

yes all in hand here xxxx we are all taking pills ... and had a lovely letter from a lady saying super -drug have tablets and boots ... so if people worried can go there , its just one pill .

passed on so easily by contact hand to hand, hand to mouth or especially in playgrounds, places with communal toys, schools etc or workplaces.

(via Eggs under fingernails and on hands)

Itchy bum in evening and if you look at childs bottom you can clearly see the worms (small white threads) popping in and out often several at a time)

Good idea to keep some over the counter meds in the house at all times - comes in syrup or tablet so you can dose up the whole family as soon as you suspect.

Nothing icky, just normal part of life with kids like headlice and being peuched on, snotted on etc LOL

No these worms don't come from food - sometimes animals and soil but mostly person to person.

when i was a kid, my mum said if you dont wash your hands after you have a poo

or after eating carrots out of the garden without washing and peeling them first you will get worms.

One woman said her family where treated for worms, but they kept coming back.

a doctor said she should always use very hot water to wash her dishes.

I remember that. Being forced to sit at the kitchen table gipping till it had all gone down cos my sister always had them. Can't drink or stand the smell of Vimto now as it reminds me of worm medicine
