Who's your favourite comedian and how does today's comedian compare ?

Not saying one generation is better than the other just observing.

By old school I mean the likes of Tommy Cooper & Ken Dodd and so on !

Wirral

I love Ronnie Barker. Understatedly intelligent humour, brilliant use of language and he was also a really talented actor.

This is true. I once went to see Doddy. The show started at 7.30pm and didn't finish till 1.30am.

Very much so I loved him best as Fletch but he could play anything well.

When I first saw fork handles sketch I split my sides laughing.

That was good comedy we won't see the likes of again.

BRIDPORT

I enjoy listening to old recordings of Max Miller.

The way he doesn’t finnish the punch line and leaves it to you to do in your own mind, thus never saying anything crude but leaving you with an inference.

These days they don’t think it’s funny if it hasn’t got 15 fucks in every joke.
