So, I coloured my hair a few times in lockdown, each time I wanted it a little blonder

Just tried a new colour, it's very blond, so blond I may need a new passport!

My own mother may not recognize me.

Anybody else had a major hair/beauty disaster in lockdown?

I erm had a disaster way to much bleach my hair turned shades of orange and green and was breaking I ended up having to cut 7 inches off

Be careful my hair was so over bleached (my own fault) it was in terrible condition. I attempted to give myself a trim when lockdown started but it was snapping off in my hand so decided to take the plunge and Shave it off ..I’m never using bleach again

. On the plus side tho it’s growing back in lovely condition..

I tried to dye my hair red.

I have A LOT of hair so I bought 2 boxes and left it on for a bit longer than the recommended time as you do.

It turned my bathroom into something out of a Tarentino film, my shower mat and curtain are now pink

My hair looks brown still but the grey bits that were coming through are now pink!

And the ends are as dry as a motherfucking bone

I made that mistake! It bounces up and was so short! Remember the advert for one of those claims companies ‘accident at work that wasn’t your fault’ the woman that was in it? That’s how my fringe turned out!

I tried a temporary dark brown and wasn’t realised it was actually mahogany so my blonde highlights turned into pink

Keep washing to get rid of now as I am not allowed to use unnatural colours at work. Luckily I managed to not get much attention this week as I kept my hair tied up! Massive failure

Get a good mask on your hair to hydrate the ends. I dye my Brazilian virgin lace hair units a lot and often dry out a couple. Protein pack and a deep conditioning soon fixes the issues I find
