An old wives tale I once heard was half the lenght of time that you have been with a person... Other than that, no idea.

Distraction helps and with distraction time passes and then things get easier.

Same advice from last week. Distract yourself. Stay busy. It's stops hurting eventually

Embrace the new freedoms you have now, away from the confines of a relationship. Do something new, maybe something you have put off, show them you have moved on and getting on with your life

Oo err Devon

Spend time learning about yourself...

What do you do for fun...

What do you do for you...

I think when we lose or break up with someone we love.. We have to learn about the part of us that's left and heal... And for a really cheesy finish.. Regrow...and It takes time... X

I don't think anyone can tell you how to move on. The first step is wanting to.

It's ok to be scared of unknown. Even if you are scared of something, do try to tackle it, taking action, however small, putting yourself path is all what's needed sometimes to set us into a new good direction. Persevering at is a different chapter though

It really all depends on where you are in terms of accepting the loss of the relationship, how you are currently feeling and what you are thinking.

I don’t mean to sound harsh but just think of all the pain & misery they caused you & what sort of person even does that anyway & you deserve to be treated better

OK. You can move on from your old relationship without starting a new one. How are you doing with being single? Do you have supportive friends?

Assuming they were the one to do the hurting.

Very hard to move on if you were in the wrong.

Forgiving yourself is tough.

Then do not fall in love again. That is how i cope. My guard is up from now on and i will happily remain single.

Start from there then. It'll be difficult during this current time but as things move forward maybe work on building some friendships. Self esteem is something I can't help you with, that comes from within you have to believe you're worth it

Work on yourself. I've been where you are. Loving yourself means you can withstand these blows

Life is full of risk

What are you gonna do.... Live your life indoors and alone?

Love is supposed to be scary. Opening yourself up to be loved is an act of vulnerability. It's how trust grows in a relationship.

There are shitty people in this world and not so shitty people. But youll never know if you only inside your thoughts

Strap a pair on head out the door an hold on for the ride

That is rather harsh. People fall out of love which is just life. Does not mean that person is cruel or unkind. It would have been cruel to stay for the wrong reasons.

Well you need to do some soul searching and realise you deserve better.

Move on with your life. It's difficult at the moment but in the future find new interests, you willm make new friends. For now take the time to work out what you want in life, what your interests are.

We can all offer advice but only you can act on it
