What's the funniest film you've ever seen?

Jump to newest

Just wondering...

I love a good laugh, but a lot of films labelled "comedies" these days just aren't funny.

Realise this is very subjective, but would be interested to hear what tickles your funny bone

"Step brothers always very funny.

Step Brothers is brilliant.

I really laughed a lot at Spy - the one with Melissa McCartney. Statham sends himself up brilliantly.

Also Magruber. Criminally underrated comedy. Cracked me up.

So I’ll throw in Monty Pythons The Holy Grail if you don’t watch the last ten minutes.

Also nearly all the Laurel and Hardy films but the one when they are building the house is superb.

Love all of the Monty Python films. Bonkers but funny, genuine laugh out loud sketches.

The early American Pie films were great in their day and The Hangover was hilarious the first time round!

Naked Gun I had to leave the Cinema, it was just too much for me. Airplane by the same team as well.

Dumb and Dumber, especially on the motorbike when he wants a wee.

Life of Brian

And the end of Ghost, admittedly it was only me and my idea of vocal criticism, that almost got me chucked out of the Cinema

I'm with you there, saw dumb and dumber on a plane. I was crying with laughter so much I was nearly sick and the guy next to me was wondering what on earth was wrong with me.

Watched it a while after and wondered why on earth I'd found it so hilarious.
