I just did a load of washing, bedsheets towels etc .. and forgot the fabric softner!

I've been extremely lucky and been given a grant to acquire tools and decorating equipment for my house.

I've not had a decorated house in 14 years, never wallpapered in my life nor used patching plaster and I'm nervous about doing it, but I know it'll help rebuild my confidence and give me something to be proud of.

Anyway, stuff has been ordered and I'm waiting for deliveries. I've pretty much been stalking my driveway for 2 days and have no idea of delivery dates but not wanting to leave the house or go in the garden just in case

I also have a gift coming from one of my besties that was meant to arrive yesterday but isn't here yet either.

All future plans and dreams gone wonky donkey so it's gonna be MY home, all for me with no consideration for other people when decorating

I say that, I did speak to my son about moving my wardrobe into his room (which he sleeps in like 12 times a year) and I got shouted at by him. Not for wanting to move my wardrobe in there, but because "mum, it's your fucking house, stop thinking about other people all the time and do what you want"

So I'm having a dressing room and if the air bed doesn't fit when he comes tough, he can sleep downstairs on it.

There are loads of YouTube videos on how to do DIY etc .. I watched loads of them when I moved in December
