Can't believe how many older couples are ageist towards younger couples.

We wouldn't overlook a person because of age. Surely it's more about how we get on overall.

I know couples will say they have daughters our age but can't they get passed the mental block as age is only a number

I overlook people due to their age. I don't want to meet someone if they're old enough to be my parent and I know some people won't be interested in me as I might be young enough to be their child and I respect that.

I actually just upped our age range as the guys were looking too young and I have a young son and it just feels wrong. I prefer guys a similar age to us.

Just kidding. I have an age preference and I wouldn’t be attracted to someone my dads age, and I’m sure there’s lots of people my dads age who wouldn’t be attracted to me because I’m their daughters age.

I know THE fittest 60yo ever I’d be on him faster than I care to admit but then I know people of the same age that I just can’t imagine in that way.

That only seems to work for older than me though, I can’t seem to fancy anyone much younger

It's a preference and people can choose to exclude you from their swinging for whatever reason. Why get so hung up over people who simply aren't interested in you, just focus on those whose age bracket you do fit into and who you're attracted to.

There's me thinking this was a liberated and accepting lifestyle. There is more prejudice in general here than in the vanilla world.

Not disputing choice by any means but we are a couple who look at the bigger picture.

Would always prefer older as they are experienced so the sex is great whereas with a younger person inexperienced well I can show them the ropes and introduce them. Best of both worlds.

Age, height, body shape etc etc. Anything can be a deal breaker for some people. So it might not be a "biggie" to you, but that doesn't make couples who won't meet you ageist.

It is what it is. I accept that younger women and couples may not want me as a play partner as I may be old enough to be their dad (or even grandad!).

In clubs however, I just go with the flow and finding out someone’s age is often not a problem. Great times with all ages.

I’ve met some lovely women near my age and their experience of life often matches mine. I am not adverse however to seeing young couples in clubs enjoy themselves.

We set an age range that we are comfortable with, if someone else doesn’t like that then tough. There are other things that we don’t like/want either and that our choice. We certainly won’t apologise for it or change if because somebody else disagrees

There are people on here who are submissive qnd others dominant, people who prefer ladies in lingerie and other naked, some prefer same room others seperate rooms and then some who prefer there own age it is not ageist just a preference. We have tried meeting younger and given up as the conversation if different, when they are talking about modern day entertainers and we are talking Beatles and Rolling Stones they are talking X Box, It is how you get on not just the sex.
