Many many posts about how immoral swinging is and how its the same as cheating, i thought i would start a post (and please no argueing) i just want to know YOUR opinion on it (not your opinion on what others say on this thread)

In my opinion, sex and love are two very different things,,, however when you love someone you should be honest with them and swinging is honesty about your sexual needs and wants, cheating is not! so in my opinion swinging is not immoral at all,,,

Although I will say that the whole concept of swinging to some people is immoral in itself - I personally agree with you completely

I agree the difference and a very good opening thread.

I think swingers do respect others people's choices but it is when they are asked to justify that choice to play or not to play, does it often go tits up. If people made it clear on profiles, people read them, responded to people who meet their requirements, didn't hoodwink or try and convince them to make an exception, blame 3rd parties for the reason they are here and were HONEST... everyone on here would get fun with likeminded people....

if only................

Dont you think that most of the arguments only occur because one person is trying to "make" another person accept their own stance? If people could agree to disagree without blaming, judging and labelling..... the world would be at peace, not just the scene.

I agree with OP. I have done both, cheating and swinging, and cheating is certainly not my intention for future relationships, but I will be swinging forever more...i hope!

Sexual freedom is to be prized, and is better relationship glue than believing that any form outside-relationship sex is illicit and the end of the world.

It's the old lust or love thing. Swingers are open about lust, the others try to hide it and end up cheating on and lying to a partner

It's very easy, cheating is when you don't tell your partner something. Swinging is when both partners are aware.

Totally agree with OP. I've done both. It's far better when both people in the relationship are aware of what is going on.
