I thought I'd regail you all with some little known facts about the big round yellow fella in the sky .......

The Sun accounts for 99.86% of the entire mass of the Solar System.

Over 1 million Earths could fit inside the Sun.

It takes 8 minutes for light to hit earth from the Sun , so you always see the Sun as it was 8 minutes ago .

Because of Earths elliptical orbit , the distance between us and the Sun varies by up to 5 Million Kilometers

If you took the 50 closest stars to our Solar System that we know of , our Sun would still be the 4th Brightest .

More interesting is how they set the moon back on fire so quickly in the morning to turn it back into the sun, it takes me about 45mins to get a BBQ going.
