Many threads about shaved ..trimmed etc. This is about ladies hairstyles (heads).

I want to go short...he who likes to be obeyed says absolutely NO.

Would you go with what your OH likes and do men prefer longer hair on ladies ...as a rule

I'm off to the hairdressers Saturday and they love it when I walk through the door cos never have the same thing done twice.

Radical change this weekend, only hope the guy I'm meeting again on Wednesday still recognises me

I have my hair how I want it

I got my hair cut a couple of days ago and I had a style in mind and had it done

Its a completely made up style but I love it because its unique

I go with what will look nice for me and easy to do myself after its cut ... i am lucky have a really good lady come to my home ... she works 3 days in hair shop but other two days go to peoples homes .. my family have her too so she end up with 4 or 5 to do .

my hubby likes long hair, its not a good look on a 50 year old woman though.

i have had it cut short before, didnt like it though.

doesnt bother me what he thinks too much, as it grows again pretty quick anyway.

If a man falls for a woman because of her overall appearance (yes and her personality) and she changes her hair from long and dark to short and blonde he may find he isn't attracted to that look. My brother's partner did exactly that many years ago and he told her that if he wanted a brunette he'd have picked one instead of the natural blonde that she was/is. They're not together anymore.

The change of look changed her emotionally too. She disliked being treated as a blonde bimbo with big boobs in general (not by him) and the brunette look put a stop to that to a degree, and that change made her a different person. Happier, but not the fun-filled life of the party type she was before, she became more reserved as that's what she thought brunettes were.

I have my hair to suit me, though it helps that my OH likes it long and curly.

For years I wanted a straight sleek bob but it would never stay straight. Then I had short spiky styles.

Now I let my hair do its own thing and let it curl naturally. I love my hair, I do feel it makes me stand out, especially as lots of ladies seem to favour long straight hair.

My longer blonde curls make me feel very feminine too.

do my har for me and me alone, it changes fairly regularly and if Mr B likes it then thats a bonus but it doesn't happen very often, he really isn't keen on my current look but he wouldn't dream of even suggesting i should change it to something he likes as he respects the fact i'm my own person with the abilty to decide for myself what i like and dislike

i'm currently growing it and will do for at least another year and will have some colour changes in that time but i'm already getting excited about cutting it all off and going short again eventually, i love changing my look through my hair

My hair is mine, and I style it as such. It has been short for years, short at the back, long fringe on the right hand side, and various colours.

I'm now growing it long, and when it is long it curls naturally, so I'm hoping for long curly hair, which I'm going to strip the colour that's left, and have it bleached purple.

Personally I do like shorter hair and brunettes, but it's all dependent whom is sporting the barnet. Gail porter is still a very attractive woman even tho she has been struck by tragic hair loss.

I agree that long hair on some older women can look horrible. Its down to how its styled and condition I think.

I never even told jay i was having mine done when i had it all cut off. First thing he said was i looked like a boy. He does like it but thats a bonus. Wouldnt do/not do just because someone else likes it

i was not thinking of having them in on a swing date ... just out to dinner , lolol i like the long hair up and back of the face look ,., lol

While some people look really great with short and super short hair, I personally just love the feel of long hair. Probably becuase I was never allow long hair when I was a child, mine is really curly and my mum found it difficult to manage hence the need for short hair...

Having said that I particualrly like long hair loosely tied up, the tousled look (not sure if that is the correct spelling )
