What haven't you missed....

This last 3/4 mounths?

So we often see people saying what they missed during lockdown but I'm interested to know what you could happily now never do again.

Haven't missed supermarkets or the high street shopping experience, would gladly never set foot in one again. As much as possible I will be using small independent shops in future.

Also haven't missed feeling like I'm living life to a timetable, it's been nice to live life at a slower pace & not be under pressure to be anywhere at set times.

This is pretty much same for us actually.

I used to do almost all my shopping on the high street but I really haven't missed it at all.

Traffic, I live on a high street and there's roadworks this week.

Forgotten what angry drivers in hot weather sounded like, punctuated regularly by loud and agressive hip hop from car stereos, it's jarring and I'd gotten used to living without it.

Not missed that at all these past 3 months.

The sounds of traffic in the distance. In my village you can now hear it again where as during lockdown it was noticeable by it’s absence.

I’ve enjoyed the lock down immensely.

Have not missed the traffic noise and pollution, or having to use the tube. Or the general hassle from getting round the capital on public transport.

With the odd exception (being able to get loo roll being one of them), I've actually quite enjoyed the lockdown.

I like working from home, not having to get the tube or transport anywhere, using local businesses for food rather than supermarkets, walking more, cleaner air, more time to do things for me rather than feeling obliged to go out and socialise...it's appealed to my introverted side hugely.

I'm aware though that I've had it very lucky. I've kept my job, I live on the edge of a big park so had easy access to greenery and open spaces, and have had a housemate here with me for some company. For others I know it's been a lot tougher.

I missed hugs and physical contact, but not much else.

The toilet roll shortage is something people are going to look back on in years time and wonder what the hell people were thinking!!?

I haven't missed anything.

I dont really like people, so "partial" lockdown was pretty bliss for me.

I eat out pretty much everyday (too lazy to cook) so that was slightly annoying, but there were plenty of options available on deliveroo so it wasnt the end of the world

I haven’t missed the pressure I always felt to be everyone else’s instant support network.

I still chat to pals on the phone etc, but I don’t feel pressured into constantly being a sounding board for other people’s issues.

Loud people coming home at night time from parties.

Traffic and noise associated with it.

People trying to be too friendly with my kids in local shops and touching their cheek or rubbing their heads. Hate it.

People who have no idea what personal space means when you are out and about.

So yes. It was a blessing in the sensory terms

I haven’t missed much really. I’ve been in training for this shit my whole life!

It’s been 94 days since I touched another human although I’ve been doing my parents shopping and having driveway chats once a week, it’s weird not hugging them but I’m lucky they’re both in good health and are well.

I haven’t missed the office (or the politics), I’m thoroughly enjoying working from home and my cat is the best colleague ever!

I’m almost certain this will change the way our firm operates and given they’re still stuck in the 80s with most things that will be a welcome change.

Be nice to go out for dinner and wine and kissing when we can though.

Traffic! There's two really rather busy main roads that I often use and they typically create a junction that I have to cross a lot. I can often go across now without waiting at all.

This but for me its the driving around for work.... i was able to get to work much easier, which meant I could leave later and as such enjoyed a few extra mins in bed!
