I'm definitely built for the Northern European climate - I can manage and even enjoy the heat in small doses, but only when accompanied by cold beers.

As you said...by the coast, or on the hills where you've a lovely breeze or means to cool off I love it.

Having spent weeks in stifling heat in Bush country getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, I suddenly realised British weather wasn't so bad.

If I’ve got a breeze or a pool to dip in it’s fine, other than that anything over 22c and I hate it. Although it’s more the humidity that comes with it here

when the suncream or lotion has to be applied its usually when it gets to warm I don,t mind a bit of heat if you can get in the shade its when you can,t get comfortable normally stuck inside working in it luckily liveing in a temperate climate we don,t see that much but our summers of late have been hotter than normal I much prefer it below 70 degrees somewhere between 63c and 67c is pleasant much prefer a cooler climate than a hot one.

Yes the bedroom wall harbours the heat till night time then when the temps drop outside the heat drops In side and it just seems to linger opening windows makes hardly any difference I find it more after heatwaves which could be due anytime..

Central

I have a real distaste for heat, which hasn't always been ideal for the places that I've lived in. I can holiday in places with much stronger sunlight than here and return whiter than when I left.

I'm fair skinned, so my preferences suit this sun dodging. Unfortunately my productivity levels are close to zero during high heat levels - it's typically natural for us to do less but I generally become lethargic and just about exist. I've had to push some limits to gain a sense of achievement and satisfaction. I've not had a beach holiday for years - Florida 2 years ago was an anomaly for me. 3 weeks of very little except rest and just 2 or 3 hours resting in the sun the whole time. I find when every day is almost identical to be the worst - today I will do stuff in advance of tomorrow being much hotter. I like the weather up to around 20 degrees in this climate, a couple of degrees higher in a drier climate.

I love the heat. I'd rather be too hot than too cold. Our colder months seem to go on forever. Summer never lasts very long so it's a much welcomed time for me. Even with bad hayfever, I'd take that over the cold, wet and miserable days!

I dislike having to work out in it all day, but that's unavoidable. I do use a wet cloth around my neck and I wet my hat too which helps. I think I'd pass out if i didn't do that. I also freeze my squash and drink it as it defrosts through the day.
