I like the physical presence of a record, and if its a, new album some, of them mp3 downloads with them as, well so best of both worlds

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

Personally, can't stand records. Some have good sound play back whilst others are poor!

Prefer the sound quality of CD's myself. Keep it sonic and very digital!!!!

The only good things about LP's is the message the quality production checkers puts on a random sample that they check. They obviously get a bit bored... Some are funny and some are just plain random?

Pulled my Whitesnake "Slide It In (ah-hem), " album and the messages between the LP inner label and the groove tracks/songs is as follows: "WE WISH YOU WELL...." My Rose Tattoo "Rock 'N' Roll Outlaws album has: "STRAWBERRY"????

My husband is a vinyl nut and has been since he started collecting punk records as a kid in 76 and his rock and 60's stuff I no Is worth a fortune and appantely a great investment! I know he still has still sealed original albums from the 60's that are worth many thoousands of pounds and his sound system is incredibly with the turntable alone cost more than 5k to build and that was cheap for what it is!

Love collecting vinyl!

Collected them in my younger days!

Then my son gave me a new lease of life with them, when he began buying!

It’s good to hunt for them at fairs or on markets as they can now be expensive!

Japanese vinyl is far superior to any other as it's a better quality material that's used and not recycled old dustbins like everyone else.

Better than CD and certainly mp3 as theres no compression of the sound.

But all that aside you felt like you'd hot something special with a record, CD's get lost in the car lol

I purchased the digitally remastered dark side of the moon on vinyl played through Nad power amps and Bowers and Wilkinson speakers.

Took me back to when I saw them play at Wembley stadium.

100% digital, all discs, vinyl and compact have been ripped. I got about 15TB of music and a Tidal subscription. 3 DACs in different rooms that I can access and play my music collection from phone, tablet or PC.

All that said, nothing sounds like 24 Bit vinyl.

Still have all my original vinyls that I bought during the 80s. I saw how people were throwing them away in favour of CDs and thought one day, they'll become popular again. I never bought albums on cassette tapes, but I would record a mixed demo onto them to listen on my Walkman or in the car. Thus, keeping the original vinyl in near new condition.

My 26 year old son is also interested collecting them and will often trawl the second hand record shops to build on his collection.

There’s such a different and full body sound you get with records that tapes, etc. cannot replicate.

A much better depth of sound than when music that is streamed. Also listening to an LP album is how the artist wanted the listener to hear it. You cannot get the Abbey Road side 2 experience by listening to the tracks individually for example.

Still got the best of my collection from my miss spent youth, a mix of around 1500 albums & 300 12" singles covering a mix of genres late 70s through to late 80s, plus my old Thorens deck with a Linn arm & Onix amp & power supply (rather minimalist having 3 controls, on/off, source & volume)

It's the only thing that keeps me cool in the eyes of my teenage nephews
