Fab cook off

We have both found ourselves dusting off our aprons and turning to baking/cooking from scratch to fill in the (CO)void.

My fave at the moment to cook/bake is BBQ pulled pork and coleslaw with oat rolls followed by baked cheescake.

If this was a cook off, what culinary delights would you rustle up?...L x

Cranachan- memories of childhood this addition may have just pipped the lead against some tough competition so far

Would be a close call but one of the three below if it's the snacks section

My ultimate fish finger sarnie

Lightly toasted bread, fish fingers, salad cream, tomatoes, coleslaw and melted cheese.

Or

If it's in the morning a bacon, egg, mushroom and brown sauce butty using white bread.

Or

Chip butty with triple cooked chips, on white bread with cold real butter and red sauce

Do I want it? If there is anything more we love than talking about food, it's eating it. Add great company of like minded folks, music and a place to get my groovy wiggle on then what greater pleasures can there be?

My goodness! This delicious edible thread escalated quickly last night

Will try to cover everything in one post otherwise I will be doing at least 10 different ones

This is exactly what I was used to and doing pre lockdown so definitely on the same wavelength with many likeminded Fabbers in here! Reminded me of another thread because social with a twist... kinky debauchery while enjoying delicious delicacy treats twist. Yes please!

@Jay and L - Certainly food for thought because can be done post lockdown.

@David - "Foodie festival, Gastronomic dishes and replenish the soul"... cor blimey! 100%

All other posters - You have covered main courses and dessert!

@OP - Bringing people together to enjoy food art! I like your style.

I will be bringing a fruit platter because nice to have refreshing and juicy finger licking *ahem* during entertainment. Talking about that... seen as Tim will have Magic Mike moves covered I will have to cover pole dancing! Listening to tuuuuuuunes!

@MissD - You know me and pomegranate go like this together haha and you're coming because sharing my moves with you *bump and grind* style!

We will definitely need a bigger gazebo post lockdown though L because there are many Fabbers into food porn

Ps. I have over 5years worth of stories/adventures to share, but don't talk with my mouthful and going by how this will go I will be busy nibbling on something... all the time...

Love your thread!

Chocolate and Cointreau a marriage of two flavour combinations made for each other.

Sound simply delightful.

Kashmiri chilli powder is not as overpowering as most other chilli powders.
