What do you do to clear your head? Decompress, take time out from your life?

For me my favourite is watching waves. Rather excited that I'm off to do just that today. I also love to garden, stitch or sketch as it's great to create. I'm also picking up my newly framed latest piece of work in thread and can't wait to see it. Only took 9month to complete!

What do you do, lockdown or not, that keeps you at least semi sane in this crazy life we all share?

I walk my dog while listening to upbeat music. Good brisk walk, blow the cobwebs away. My poor dog knows the difference between his normal walk and his 'mum wants to explode' walk. You almost see the words 'oh shit' run across his face. Cos he knows its gonna be a few hours before he gets to slow down ( he's old)

Not silly at all, I very much appreciate the length of time and effort it takes. Getting it framed is a great idea.

My first go to is take a few of the dogs for a good long walk, being on a hill taking in views or going through woodland area usually helps me think things through and bring me down. Gold panning is a great past time for me to keep distracted. A full day at a secret river with nobody around for miles as I work bedrock, finding semi precious stones/metal, the odd occasion some little pickers of gold, taking breaks where I just sit and watch the water flow by, sometimes quite entrancing.

I colour, a lot! There's some moments where I realise that my breathing has gotten really calm and all I'm thinking about is my colouring. Utter bliss

I will also rrrrrrrr in my journal. Often all it takes for me is to get what I'm thinking and feeling out and I feel so much better.

Going out for walks by the sea.

Curling up with my Kindle.

And watching All Elite Wrestling.
