I'm currently curious...I've changed from a smoker to a "vaper" as I've knocked the dreaded tabs on the head in exchange for electronic cigarettes. A milder taste though the same kick from inhaling vapour, but no smoke, no lingering smells, no harmful chemicals and no negative effects on my body! You can also light up absolutely anywhere as they aren't harmful to anyone else either.

I'd heartily recommend them as my senses have already returned (food is soooo good....)

However do I put on my profile that I'm a smoker or non-smoker? As there's no box for Vaper...

if you think its a milder taste then try changing what ever E Juice you use

You do have a good point though, is someone using e cigs a smoker and would non smokers meet em if they soecify wont meet smokers,

E cigs only output water vapour, so basically steam, no crap that you get from tobacco and no residule smell

Thats my point exactly, spot on.

I don't smell of smoke, my teeth aren't becoming stained, I no longer cause physical harm to myself or anyone else, I don't have to nip out for a cig, and smoke has ceased to be involved.

So am I a non smoker? Or does the process of lifting a tube to my mouth make me a smoker?

More views would be appreciated...

Don't really like the term "vaper", think its a bit geeky. Along with all them videos reviews done by nerds on youtube.

Had my Ecig about two weeks now and consider myself as quitting. I only use it to have a few blasts on when i get a craving. When friends see it they ask if im quitting. Plus its an ego model so looks like a pen rather than a toy cigarette

i dont smoke but have lots of friends who do, i wish they would try these, so many times i have to make the choice of standing in the cold with them while they smoke or sit on my own like a billy no mates!

I would say that unless you are going to have an ecig hanging out of the corner of your mouth whilst you are meeting people and doing the business then you could say non-smoker.

You wont smell of it or taste of it so I dont think many people would be really worried about it...

I would say as a non smoker if you no longer ole real ones you are a non smoker, as would you still be classed as one if you was using patches , o don't think you would and in my eyes there is no difference xxx

Not a smoker if no smoke involved - I too have given up but used mint lozenges - highly recommend them as they also freshen your breath

As a non smoker it's not the actual act of smoking that puts me off, it's the smell, the taste on someones breath and the stained teeth and fingers that repulses me.

Well done on giving the cigs up!

I think I would leave it as a smoker but mention in your profile and well done, just don't get addicted to them as that is what research is saying about the stuff people use to give up smoking

you dont smoke so your a none smoker, if anyone really is that petty they wouldnt meet you because they dont like the visual effect of you sat with a leccy fag id seriously laugh at them and come meet me instead lol

We're on day 9 of no smoking after taking champix. It has its moments, especially when your out on the piss and you get that urge. We have electronic cigs but we'd only be putting nicotine back in our body so they are still in the packaging in the drawer condemned to a life of darkness.

Whichever way you do it, as long as its not the real thing then good on you. However i'd still defend a smoker when the situation comes up again.

Thanks for all the well wishes and support guys I shall leave it on my profile for now, as its only been half a week, but needless to say I'm already noticing the benefits of having no CO in my body and smelling nicer!

And you certainly come across as smooth Miss Nymphos. I plan to find out if you taste as smooth as you sound...

Sod it, I'm clear of the tobacco filled paper tubes for a week on saturday night and for the most part it was a piece of piss so the I'm going to go with the majority and the status is getting changed!

Though I've took on board the bit about mentioning it in my profile too. Fairs fair and while it may not harm anyone or have any repellent qualities or inconveniences some may be offended by the whole tube in mouth from time to time thing, I suppose some folk may be put off if someone was to use an inhaler regularly after all! Though shortness of breath during physical activity has no chance of happening...

That does seem to be the next step down lol!

However like bi-curious that implies that I haven't really had much experience smoking but I'm interested in taking it up, which is quite the opposite.

Is there a term for lads who have had quite enough cock for a lifetime thank you, and will instead enjoy a woman perhaps slipping a finger or perhaps an instrument into their bottoms now and again.
