Is it me or was sunday's coverage of the Thames river padgeant poor?. It was full of inane drivel from the likes of Fearne Cotton, Matt Baker etc who didnt look like they even gone to the bother of researching anything about the boats or people involved.

I mentioned this on a thread earlier. I didn't see it but my sister, who lives in Italy, never misses anything from home, especially as it winds her in-laws up.

Her message was wtf has happened to the BBC? My 10 year old Brazilian born daughter could have given a more informative commentary in English than the embarrassments they had on. She bristled that someone referred to Her Majesty as HRH.

Sadly, that's what happens when you promote based on looks and not substance...in some cases.

We can honestly say we never watched 1 nanosecond of anything to to with the Jubilee, so cannot comment at all about whether the coverage was good, bad or indifferent.

Your right. I thought it was me but it did come across that little research had been done. One cringing moment was when Baker and Raworth could not think of a thing to say so they both turned to the crowd outside who were getting soaked to the skin and started waving at them at them!

Such poor presenters for such a big occasion
