Shropshire

Watched an amazing thunderstorm.

It's the little things that add up. If everyone was a little bit nicer, looked after the world a little bit more, the world would be a little bit nicer.

Cut out negativity from your life, you don't owe anyone anything.

Find what makes you happy, focus on that. Even if that is just a good cup of tea and a patch of sunshine!

Teesside

I made some new friends. And got a refund from the taxman.

And i recieved a truly amazing compliment unexpectedly and spent an hour feeling all warm and fuzzy after.

None of which will really lift your spirits but my.point is earlier this week I was feeling quite down too. Just got to look for little reasons to make you smile when the big pic overwhelms.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

My nephew video called me and told me I was his best ever love in the world. Apart from Mandy (his dog) and Penny (my dog). I'll take it!

Manchester (she/her)

It's more cumulative than 24 hours. But there's a lot of love out there. We stand up and take care of each other. We adapt. We make it through. We hear each other's perspectives and draw together against adversity.

It's hard, it's scary, it can be relentless. But we find hope in each other. We all chip in.

I made cookies. I took some round to the elderly neighbours and they gave me bread and eggs they had that they wouldn’t have been able to use before they go out of date. Their son and daughter both dropped off shopping for them without realising the other had already done it. Free bread and eggs! it’s made my day
