Why do you feel worse for it and like you have had less sleep than normal?

Answers on a postcard.

Yeah I had an early night last night.

Taking me longer to wake up this morning.

I think of sleep as a weekly bank rather than a nightly thing. I've put some extra sleep into my bank so I can stay up later the rest of the week.

That's a good way of looking at it.

I had a rest day yesterday. I came home from work and had dinner and chilled out and went to bed a little earlier than normal. I woke up this morning feeling like Mike Tyson had been working my body through the night. Typical
