One part of me gives it the “oh i really can’t be arsed to do that today” and the the other half of me acts like a motivational speaker and comes out with all sorts of cheesy stuff to egg myself on. I try to do the really shitty stuff first to get it out of the way, that way the day just gets better, rather than it building up to something i dread doing." That’s a really good tip for work related or housework - like the rocks , pebbles and sand in the bowl ,always put the rocks in the bowl first These 4 & 5am starts work well for that, it’s quiet no one is awake, no one is online in the UK emailing me and concentration levels are high. ![]() | |||

"I have to be the laziest self disciplined person I know, there are plenty times when I don't have the will or motivation to get things done, but then I have a few words with myself and get shit done. "I have this internal struggle with myself every time I have to write a TMA for my masters degree.. i start about 6 weeks before its due, thinking about a subject and structure etc..then do nothing for 4 weeks, then panic for a few days and finally throw something together over 24 hours and deliver an hour before deadline ![]() ![]() It’s not meant to be easy , if it was it wouldn’t be worth anything ! | |||
