Ive got roast pork, but mint jelly instead of apple sauce. Mixed veg, roast potatoes cooked around the meat, Yorkshire pudding, mash and traditional gravy made from meat juices xx

Chams or Socials

We’re having boiled gammon today with loads of veg, potatoes & yorkies. I’ll use the leftover Egan in water to make a spring veg soup

Oooh I would love to be having a roast but I don’t like doing them for one.

I made risotto last night and have loads left over so I will be making arancini for dinner tonight

Stockport

We have a chicken in the slow cooker at the moment. But as we’re in the middle of building work I’m not sure what we’re gonna have with it. I do have some emergency frozen roast potatoes (which I’ve never used before!) and some frozen veg so we might have something that resembles a Sunday roast later. Or I might just slap the chicken in between some bread?!

I'm having it delivered today, which is the only time I have a Sunday roast!

Gammon, and it apparently comes with six or seven types of veg, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and meaty gravy, followed by chocolate fudge cake.

And no washing up!

Ah, it does come on its own proper plate. But I can handle washing that up! Just about.

SE London

I usually skip lunch on Sundays, instead I enjoy a long sleep-in and have fried eggs and ham for brunch, together with a double espresso with a shot of milk.

Main meal on weekends for me is dinner, tonight I am going to have hummus and taramasalata dips with flatbread, peppers and celery sticks and few slices of Spanish and Italian dried sausages.
