Did every town and city in the UK have a tramps nightclub back in the day ?!

What was/is the name of the nightclub of your choice back in your clubbing days.

Or was it a disco at the back of a pub

Never had a Tramps, but we got together in our favourite nightclub at the time (long since shut down) The Attic.

Which coincidentally is also the name of our favourite swingers club.

Pagoda Park in Birmingham.

Many dance floors on different levels, the DJ went up and down on an elevator while waterfalls cascade from top to bottom.

Omg I forgot pagoda park !

I'm a northern soul boy so I was more into those venues rather than nightclubs but went a few times with mates.

No that was just the boat. Tuxedo princess / tuxedo royale depending on which boat as they replaced one with the other.

Legends was bricks and mortar

Maymies was the place for getting narcotics.

Dream Was great for a scrap.

Zanzibar was best for pulling hotties.

Applejacks was just if you were desperate to stay out.

The nearest nightclub to me back in the day was checkers in stretford.. what a dump with sticky carpets and stinky toitets but great place for an after pub drink

Used to go to the Elbow Rooms and Paradise Lost. The Elbow Rooms you couldn't swing a car in for it being packed with people and Paradise Lost was a fitting name for that dive...usually got a snog at the end of the night at both places though so I'm sure I fitted right in
