Who remembers the time when you could just walk into a supermarket without a care in the world?

The Vicar much prefers supermarkets post lock down. Once you are in it is a much nicer envi than it used to be. There are fewer parents shouting at badly behaved brats, people allow others more space and are generally more polite and friendly. There's less stuff to buy, even The Vicar gives into temptation from time to time and finally the system for queuing is much fairer, no more watching and guessing which till will be quickest.

Why does the vicar refer to himself in the third person?
