Resident Evil 8 Village and PS5

Has anyone seen the PS5 reveal from today? Resi 8 was the game I was most excited about. The console itself looks good, it's definitely on my Christmas list.

I have watched it. The new Spiderman looks good and Resident Evil looks amazing. The loop one has peaked my interest but i was super excited over Horizon

Not personally a fan of the console (think it would look better in black) but hyped for spiderman THIS YEAR!!

I've seen a few numbers bandied about. I guess they never mentioned it in the launch? Probably just a case of bend people over and lube them up with the game announcements, then shaft them with the price down the line

I'll buy one and if they run out of stock for Christmas I'll consider selling it for a tidy profit. I did that with my PSVR and managed to buy one again later on in the sale with the money I had made.

I like the fact that it's backwards compatible, I can sell my PS4 and still play my games if there's a drought of good PS5 games. I've got Death Stranding ready to play and there's The Last of Us 2 coming out shortly.

It was up for pre-order on Amazon UK earlier for £599. They pulled it later and claimed it was just a placeholder.

I think it like a new game but a side story of the 1st one since it’s still in New York and is coming out this year which seems to soon for a brand new game

I've not played any of the Souls/Bourne series but I've heard they're hard.

I agree, they got Ratchet and Clank coming out as well. I'm not sure that Insomniac has enough resources for 2 AAA titles to be worked on at once.
