The cd will go in and eject but not play and the radio was working then died after I turned engine off.

If anyone has any useful suggestions please help as I need my music.

Depending on the make, it should be possible to remove the front. Usually a couple of holes somewhere on the front to poke something like a paper clip into. The front should then come away. Then just clip it back into place. It could be a dodgy connection.

Have you disconnected your battery recently?

"Have you disconnected your battery recently? "

No but disconnecting one of the battery leads and reconnecting it has rectified the problem. Thought it might be due to battery level being too low as I haven't driven as much as usual but that was fine as well as the fuse.

Thanks for your help though.
