So, Dele Alli has been handed a one match ban for posting a video to snap chat in which he racially profiled and mocked an Asian man over coronavirus in an airport lounge.

If the FA are serious about dealing with racism in football, now was the perfect time to show it and hand out a punishment which will make other think twice. Instead, they have given him a slap on the wrist!

He should have got a lifetime ban! (Arsenal fan here )

Joking aside it does seem a token gesture.

The club needs to be docked points or kicked out of the tie if it a cup game, it the only way the racist fans will listen.

"Did Liverpool get fined for the disgustingly tasteless we support Suarez tee shirts that the players had on ? "

No Jamie Carragher and Peter Moores sent personal apologies to Patrice Evra. Evra said he was touched by it, but the racist actions of the Club and some of its fans were never punished, I’m sorry to say.

What racist actions of the club exactly?

The T shirts that they had printed for all the players to wear meant they were complicit. The CEO admitted it in the apology to Evra, as did Carragher.

Ooo, a one match ban....

Bit shit really, should have been given a year ban, or sacked. To me the FA did fuck all about it, except a token gesture.

If you were found to be racist in your job, you can be sacked for it.

There is a lot work that needs to be done to stamp out rascim in football. Its not just a society problem as people on here have highlighted players. The FA reprimand for rascim is poor and a disgrace.

£80000 fine and a 8 match ban for Kiko Casilla for unproven comments during a match. Leeds United fined £200000 for not breaking any regulations the FA are a joke.
