Still miss my barney but the good times are so happy. Now making new memories with a cocker spaniel, jug and mutt. Still think of barney

I lost my Bedlington in July due to her cancer returning. We had her operated on at xmas to remove it, thought they got it all but beginning of July we found out it had come back and spread to her lungs so nothing an operation could fix.

I wont ever forget that day the vet came but I know she was ready to go and I had to put her needs and comfort above my need to keep her here.

Lots of cuddles and all the treats when you see him.

Sending lots of hugs to you. Xx

Sorry sounds so inadequate...

Collect all those memories make beautiful new memories hold them close and know that you have always done the best for them for they are your family.

And crying ...that's ok too OP.

I wish you strength and peace.

Whatever anyone says, pets are family. Lost too many over the years and it doesn't get easier. We are lucky, they all rest here, still near us.

Hugs from us

"My much loved 14 year old Bearded Collie been diagnosed with cancer. Seeing him tomorrow. "

My sister's lab had cancer, she tried holistic therapy and swore it worked, dog's can respond to placebos it seems. Fourteen is a good life and I'm sure you've given him all the love he could have wanted, you will be sad and that's as it should be so my condolences but I bet you gave him the best life he could have had

It's the worst part of owing a pet..having to make that decision.

I feel for you. As awful as it is, it's our final act of kindness..letting them go peacefully & pain free, rather than them having to suffer.

It's a true act of love & compassion.

Big hugs xxx
