If I'm with a trusted partner and we know about each others clear std results and update eachother.. skin is preferable. Although I use a diaphragm for contraception.

The idea that we are dirty shameful animals to prefer bareback isn't realistic. It's possible to be careful, conscious and respectful to yourself and others. It requires a level of mature, conscious and honest, clear, communicative attitude to make good choices around how you choose to conduct a healthy sex life.

It's not rocket science though, lots of irresponsible, unprotected sex is probably not going to end well!

Had exactly the same experience on here and Tinder. Two, maybe three have asked for or demanded safe sex. All others (a big number) want bareback. As per your experience that includes doctors, nurses, various professionals, singles, couples, old, young, etc.

I'm not complaining as I always go bareback myself (I know the risks). But safe sex really isn't the norm for most, despite what gets said.

My husband has had a vasectomy so I don't use contraceptives, so wouldn't dream of going bareback, dont want any little fab babies, to date hubby hasn't, but wouldn't rule it out completely in the right situation
