So, as a gin alternative I've always fancied Seedlip non alcoholic spirit, but always balked at the price, more expensive than gin itself!

Just discovered CeroCero at lidl, for under a tenner

But what alternatives would you recommend?

Here, there and everywhere!

I really don't get how non-alcoholic drinks which arent taxed anywhere near the same amount can be more expensive than proper booze.

Non alcoholic drinks is like licking out your sister. It may taste ok, but it’s just not right!

You have to make them alcoholic and then remove the alcohol, so the fixed production cost is higher. while you’re right about the tax part, it’s also branding that comes into it, none alcoholic products can have huge advertising budgets too, you’re also paying for that.

Think about how much you’ll pay for a Pepsi or in the pub. That’s the biggest profit margin out of every drink they sell.

I got a bottle of seedlip sent free in work. On its own it is hideous, but with a good tonic and garnish it's ok.

Some pubs serve it, worth giving it a go before shelling out for a bottle.

For some non alco is a viable alternative. If you can drink, drink... If you can't cero cero
