I then send a pretend message thinking the number is for someone else

The wife will reply who is this? I think you ha e the wrong number.

I respond saying Jack. Isn’t this (not the wife’s name)??

Yellow pages

are they still a thing. I had a job delivering yellow pages once. It was awful and really low pay. In the end my mum and dad helped me and we wheeled the books round in the pram

So in your opinion the onus is on the woman to prevent the man contacting her? Rather than the onus being on two men preventing themselves from contacting a woman who hasn't willingly given out her number.

Now I know this is a thing and that quite a few men enjoy it, some women too. It just doesn't sit right with me.
