All this 70’s style hair thanks to lockdown I’m getting nostalgic for the fashion. Just off to see if my flares still fit me.

Who remembers - the ghastly ‘loon pants’, channel seams, split knee.Budgie jackets, penny round collar shirts?

What other fashion horrors can you remember?

This thread made me chuckle I thought this morning that my hair was beginning to look like it did in my younger days when I was a head banging rock chick. Can't wait to visit the hair salon. Anyway, I have fond memories of tank tops that my mum used to knit for me.

Think I had one of those. Knitted by my Mum. She’s 92 and still knits. Not for me though.

Loon pants! I loved them.

Tank tops, puff sleeve blouses, those very high waisted trousers with a tie waist blouse with the Gitanes advert on the back

Being into Northern Soul in the late 70's early 80's and still attending soul nights. I enjoy wearing my Oxford bags.

That was my first thought.

An old mate of mine pretty much lived in his.

I think when he finally took it off it had to be surgically removed.

And disposed of in a humane and environmentally friendly way I hope?
