Great post OP. I do find joy in rather simple things _cooking for my partner and her daughter, walking the poochies, working a river bed with no one around for miles and enjoying all the nature and tree's while doing so.. To name a few. I'm easily pleased really

Being with my kids (although 3 months day-in, day-out is pushing that joy to the limit

) and just being in nature. Feeling the sun/rain on my skin, the wind in my hair and love in my heart.

Listening to good music, dog cuddles and long walks also do it for me.

I try to find joy in most things. My family always. That good morning message I get every morning. The random videos a work colleague sends me. Nature lucky enough to live next to a conservation area. A soak in the bath. Cooking. Dance. When I see my youngest son smile. My friends

Anyone that knows me would probably tell you that I've usually got a smile on my face. Maybe I'm just easily pleased, but simple, everyday things make me smile - my dog, being out in nature, a good cup of tea, getting a moment to sit and read, hearing a song I like, receiving a message from a friend, so many things.

I'm very much a positive and optimistic person though, and will search out the silver lining in any cloud.

I'm a bit more complex. I find joy in overcoming adversity. Or helping others overcome adversity. You could say I'm addicted to victory. Large or small, Mine or yours.

The greater the challenge,the greater the joy once the challenge is overcome. But small victories are just as valuable.

I have noticed that. You are a role model to other women on fab. You come across as kind, humble, caring, loving, genuine lady who has a beautiful heart and soul. And did I say one of the most stunning ladies on here? You have got it all. Seeing you around the forums is a real joy for a lot of blokes like me!

I try to find joy in everything. I'll be doing the dishes and I'll be looking out at my garden and thinking how lucky I am to have a beautiful space during lockdown or taking out the bins I'll bump into my annoying neighbour and thank fuck I'm not married to her.....
