Wingy - I'm not sure if you realise or not, I'm guessing not so I'm going to tell you.

You inspire people.

Many people are cunty because they see strength and instead of admiring, their insecurities get the better of them and they choose to try and bring you down to make themselves feel better.

Easy for me to tell you to believe in yourself but I'm all to aware it isn't an easy thing to do. It's either there or it's not.

I've always taken comfort personally from seeing posts when I've been down. It's like, people aren't pushing but letting you know they're there and they see you. That you aren't alone even though you may feel it.

I do take on board the bit about highlighting other peoples suffering tho.

Sometimes it feels intrusive to message someone you don't really know. An anonymous message on something like these feels more of a show of support than saying nothing.

I take the point on board, but I know when I've been struggling it has given me some comfort to be acknowledged on this type of thread without feeling the need to get into a deep discussion about what's going on.

Just my opinion and if anything has been said that's made someone feel worse about a situation I'm sure it wasn't intentional - these are generally positive and affirming threads x
