Anyone else being blocked on mobile devices from connecting, saying Fab is not a secure connection? Never had it before and was just curious.

That's more to do with the wifi connection I think.

I have found it depends on what network you are on and if you have a contract or not giffgaff pay as you go I can’t get on the site but ee contract not a problem

Contact your internet provider if you recently changed it or took up a new contract.

Yep! You need to phone up your provider and ask them to turn it off

Download a free VPN and use it to access FAB - ultimately it’s your carrier service that automatically blocks adult content until you prove as the owner of the number you are an adult.

Ultimately the VPN option is easier - loads in App Store

Sometimes I get it if I go somewhere and I have picked up their wifi. Just turn your wifi off and it should be ok.

Likewise with the age 18+ thing with some network providers.

I dont understand how going through a VPN everytime is easier than phoning your provider and saying I want to access adult content.

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact

If you were able to access fine before on mobile data but suddenly cannot and you have adult content lock off then it is to do with network settings. Think I had to reset and then restart my phone. Had to Google it though to find the solution.

If you need to phone you’re provider just tell them you can’t get on any online betting sites or if you feeling brave tell them you can’t get access to you’re swingers account

Because depending on the provider it’s not as simple as just a phone call - many require further proof and verification - one (I can’t remember which game goes as far as asking for card details and processing a refundable £1 charge to verify who you are and age, depends if you can be arsed to do that or just push a button to activate a simple VPN - which then also allows you to keep your IP address hidden - handy when accessing via other networks, LANs or Wi-Fi’s where adult access is also restricted on their security protocols allowing you to bypass.

There’s a number of advantages to it also - such as accessing stuff in other country’s that isn’t accessible on UK servers - Netflix and Disney being prime examples

that security warning is your ISP intercepting secure traffic. They are part of the “safe guarding” measures.

"Yeah it's if you're trying to use others wifi.. "

only if the wi-fi is open. Plus the message would be displayed from the wi-fi router unless they were running a proxy.

I get this randomly, sometimes because of the WiFi I'm connecting to, and sometimes it's my provider being a dick

It’s cause on the international databases fab gets adult content tagged on its data. Used to just be dating way back. Means it pretty much gets treated as a porn site.

I had a problem like that too logging on. It wasn't a service provider issue. It came from google.

Strange ain't it. Sometimes fab doesn't even remain in my list of searched.
