Which are you?

Probably not the best demographic considering the nature of the site which I'd imagine attracts the more adventurous of society.

Risk adverse completely, will see all potential pit falls in everything before I make my move. It's ridiculous and debilitating but it's something I'm working on

It depends on the situation and how well I think I'd recover if things go wrong.

I'm happy to quit a job on a whim, because I know full well I'd get another one very easily. I don't gamble because the payoff isn't worth the risk to me.

In work it's my job to minimise risk, so I'm incredibly risk averse.

I’m a risk mitigating risk taker - would not be very good at my job if I either avoided risk - or didn’t face it whilst making it as small as possible.

What a great question. I reckon I veer towards risk taking in lots of respects. Career being one. Yet I avoid risks that involve potential physical injury, extreme sports, fights etc.

Still wanna do that bungie jump in Sth Africa tho, biggest in the world. I know I will be beyond fucking terrified in the time leading up to being on the ledge...

Risk taker.

Always have been.

If you’re not living on the edge you take up too much room.

Risk taker, made a few bad choices but that’s all part of growing. Regarding physical risk, I try and always keep 2 stupid mistakes away from death !

When I was 18 I faxed front and back of my first ever credit card then a company in Florida and let them max it to 10k to pay a company in India for some work . I had a few sleepless nights wondering if I’d go bankrupt or end up in prison and interest rates back then were 30% . But 2 years later bought my first house outright

I've always been an all or nothing guy (when I was a bit younger), but I think I've chilled a bit in as I've aged and appreciate the slow burn.

Still prefer bareback though

Hefty Hideaway

I like to think that I make careful thought out decisions but when push comes to shove I tend to make the biggest leaps of faith.

So far so good but no doubt I will end up with a big ol' fall at some point.

North East Scotland, mostly

Risk averse all day long, I like to cover all the angles before making a decision!

The only place I jump in with both feet is in the bedroom. Not literally. That would be a bit weird.

Depends what I am doing.

Out on the bike or motorbike, I might take the odd risk.

Personal life, probably not so many.

I was very much a risk taker and now I'm a young turtle I'm definitely risk adverse, I have others to think about and that factors in my decision making. I get the bareback love Lib.

A town near you perhaps

Calculated risk takers, though Mrs can be a reckless risk taker at times. Things always work out in the long run though whatever happens.

On a mooch

If it involves just me I’m a risk taker, if it could affect others I have to weigh up the pros and cons

End of last last year I took a big risk, it’s not quite planned out, but then again nor has this year for anyone.... time will tell whether it was a good decision or not as could effect others eventually.

That leap of faith needed to be taken and I don’t regret it one bit

thats a tricky one.

I would say I'm a risk taker but I'm not reckless.

I guess it depends how big the stakes are.

Been an extreme sports drifter best part of my life and if something doesn t suit in other dimensions of life I pull the ripcord and move on...its no big deal for me, just who I am. Mostly done quietly and often alone.
