What do you like? What’s your style? Did you like IPA before it was cool?

Myself, I mainly drink darker beers, porters and stouts mostly. The burnt roasted flavours are unbeatable in my opinion.

I’ve recently tried wheat beer and was quite impressed.

Just picked up two bottles of Bacchus Belgian cherry beer to try tonight.

My main issue with all the new stuff is that it's too potent. There are some beers around now with ridiculous percentages. The only stuff that got anywhere near that in the old days was the Gold Label barley wine!

I'm not a fan of anything above 5% really.

My beer nerd mates highly rate beavertown especially neck oil.

They were bought or at least heavily invested into last year by Heineken so I’d expect massive amounts of money pumped into beavertown soon!

I used to regularly change my choice of drink to try different IPAs and ales, however now mainly stick with Guinness.

Must be getting old lol

Yeah I get that, my favourite pub *wipes tear from eye fondly remembering the pub* had some crazy stouts in. In the region of 12%.

They’re not easy drinking and the high abv sends the sweetness through the roof, and they’re £12 a pint!!

Not to mention that one pint puts you on your arse immediately!

I'm happy with a can of Bud.

Beer it flat and watery to me and upsets my stomach.

I've been to beer festivals and only really like the disgustingly strong, light coloured IPAs.

I like a good plum porter, too.

But my current favourite is Badger brewery's Cranborne Poacher - strong and fruity. Like me, really

I don’t drink to the point of being d*unk anymore and haven’t done for years. So I’ve only ever got them by the half to try them. I’d much rather try a few different beers and go home happy rather than spend the next three days unable to function

Just tied the first bottles, it’s bloody good stuff! Nice a sweet cherry taste with the tart acidic finish.

Tried IPA after all the raving....thought it was gash. Much prefer European beers/lagers to anything else. Stella, grolsch, even becks. Anything else is just a fashion trend

I’ll drink beer if there’s no lager.

Strong continental lager is my drink of choice.

Peroni is my passion.

I do enjoy some of the American type beers and have actually spent the time to order from the internet cases of Samuel Adams and Brooklyn.

Murphys is much better than Guinness but you can’t get it on draught anywhere, Guineas foreign export is also much better than the standard stuff

Belgium beers.

Mainly the darker ones, Affliglem, Delirium, Duval, to name a few.

I find real ales have a bitter after taste, so going off them sadly.

I like John Smith's, Tetley Smoothflow or Caffreys. If I can't get those then I'll have a Guiness.

Not a lover of cask ales at all, or lagers for that matter. Don't mind a nice cold cider if I'm sat outside on a hot summers day.

Just started brewing my own beers & lagers, brewed Timothy Taylor Landlords Premium yesterday. Got Tribute fermenting & just bottled an ESB.

If you're down this way, you would find the brewery tour very interesting.

I never drink lager, it’s just too gassy and the taste always seems to be inconsistent to me.

For fans of dark beers, Sainsbury’s London Porter is lovely and I quite like Fuller’s 1845. Other than those I tend to stick to local breweries, I recommend Purity and Holdens if you’re in and around the West Midlands.

Yep I like a citrus IPA or a Chocolaty Porter or a good old fashioned Scots Ale finished in something like a Rum barrel. The last thing that I really enjoyed was a Yorkshire Treacle

I have always been a fan of IPA apart from that I tend to stick to the slightly darker ales, something with some body and taste...

As for wheat beers, I go to Germany, Austria and Northern Italy a lot and they are flooded with them and the all taste different, they even do a dark wheat beer which is darker and has a malty taste...

Prefer a continental lager, though very partial to my hometown lager

"WREXHAM LAGER" oldest lager in the UK and if truth be told may have been responsible for the sinking of the titanic...someone asked for more ice to keep it more

Chilled....!! Or the lookouts sneaked a few bottles up to the crows nest ...

Only take Guinness when in Ireland unless the weather is exceptionally hot (though being ireland that's not very often)
