London

Have you any new word/s that you have learned or interesting fact/s you have unearthed that you’d like to share?

I learned pandiculation. It describes that combination of being extremely sleepy, stretching and yawning at the same time when you wake up.

I like 'petrichor', which is the name given to that smell after a rain shower during a hot Summer...

The Land that time forgot (Norfolk)

I discovered ASMR last night - a feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus, often a particular sound.

A new and very interesting friend introduced me to the word vapid just yesterday.

I know it’s probably well known to most but I’d never heard it before or at least never acknowledged it’s meaning if I have read it somewhere.

It means to be bland, an airhead or someone of little note.

I’ve always found you rather interesting when we’ve met so maybe we both have a tendency to be vapid together.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I think I have previously shared 'snerdling': curling up under a blankey.

Clinomania: the overwhelming urge to have a lie down.

Just another flying visit. I may see out the evening here or not return after dinner.

I hope you're well.

There’s lots of ASMR videos on YouTube.

I’ve watched some to see what the big deal is but I just find them irritating
