I used to think it was very demeaning, but have over time learnt that the term tends to be used more by those that have a race kink, as opposed to those that perhaps just happen to have a preference for black men.

Also this fetishisation is obviously rooted in racism but it translates to racial violence. Stereotypes about black male hypersexuality has violently oppressed black men, contributed to our death in many cases and also translates to our perceived threat. Whenever I see a thread like this, I think we have to be careful to distinguish between preferences and being racist, ageist or just offensive. People shouldn't be made to feel it's not ok to express a preference, but at the same time they need to be careful not to objectify, either deliberately or through the thoughtlessness that comes with relying on porn, which I suspect accounts for a lot of it. Same as the threads saying things like "I wanna meet a shemale".
