I want to go see my Nan is all but she’s too frightened to let me stay in her house. Particularly with me working in healthcare and being ‘near them all’. Bless her.

I’m thinking of holding mls in a field where everyone has to wear hula hoops on braces

The government is giving a proposed date that they can open but they must follow social distancing rules of 2m...this means some wont open as it won't be economical for them to if they have to be at lower occupancy levels due to social distancing, with possible bars and restaurants closed...plus all the extra costs of deep cleaning rooms staff ppe etc..

I did think Airbnb might be an option. As I assume it’s more down to the decision of the owner? Maybe I’m wrong?

I don't think anyone is meant to be going for an overnight stay just to visit someone

AirBnB is harder than booking.com. We are both classed as keyworkers and had to book a few.

No maybe you’re right I will have to do it there and back in one go but she’s palliative and even if I have to only get to blow a kiss through the window, when the time comes I will be going. They can throw me in the cells if they want to!

No, hotels may open from July 4th subject to being able to meet guidelines. They've said nothing about pubs as yet.

I would think any bar/restaurant linked to a hotel would only be allowed to open for guests and not for the general public.

Slightly different, but I had a log cabin booked for me and my partner, but been given credit/vouchers to use after restrictions are lifted, and will recieve notification directly when able to re-book.

One through booking.com the others were booked by work with an external agency - pretty sure they use booking.com too and then charge us for doing so lol

Did need to show ID but that was to get the discount - not for staying there
