Please read..scam concerning trace n track

Ok an aquaintance received a phone call yesterday stating it was the trace and track scheme and they were phoning to say the receiver of the call had been found to have been exposed to covid 19 and must go into isolation. They queried this, especially when asked for details of all friends and bank details as they would need to pay £500 for tge test kit. At which point the target hung up.

I know, we all know its a scam but for those that are elderly, scared crapless by covid, vulnerable etc..maybe a friend, a relation..please just keep this in mind and maybe advise them. The scammers are already at work. Thanks for reading.

It’s not just online scams either. There are a vast number of doorstep scammers who specifically target the elderly and vulnerable, and some do it repeatedly, making them afraid to open their door.

There are some real knob heads in this world.
