Tidying up old crap at the weekend I found letters from when I was student. I had forgotten we used to write actual letters with a stamp to each other during the holidays!

What fond memories do people have of bygone days?

I was talking with friends about using our landline phones to prank call someone or give a one ringer to say you were leaving your house to cycle or walk to meet someone and having to actually use your watch rather than messaging.

Knowing the numbers for all the local phone boxes so you could ring each other without someone's mum listening in on the downstairs phone...generally when we were planning something that we shouldn't be doing

Pirate radio.

I had all sorts of patched together aerials and transmission type stereo gear so I could listen.

Exile radio was the best one around my area, good times

The start of lockdown when most people were miserable because they were trapped indoors and couldn't see their friends and family in person.
