Bristol

I like something different, unexpected and thoughtful...

Not bottles of whisky/ after shave etc.

It is a very personal thing, some may like a bottle of scotch etc..

My favourite was a ticket to the British Open (golf) a few years back.

Hope something inspires you.

Best fathers day present I ever got, was fathers day 1997 - we'd been home from Church about an hour, when our youngest daughter was born.

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

My two kids both live and work about 100 miles from me, so I just get cards from them, which is all I want, tbh.

My dad is in his 80s, so I try to buy him things I'll be inheriting

I'm getting mine a couple of Hawaian shirts because he'll either love them or hate them.

St Austell-ish

I gave my dad his 2nd grandkid for his birthday one year.

This year I'm considering a Toilet Twin (donation to improve sanitation in 3rd world countries). If you knew my dad, you'd agree it's a very appropriate gift.
